My name is Julie Ramirez. I am a 1988 graduate of Banquete High School and 1994 graduate of Texas A&M-Kingsville. I have taught pre-kindergarten classes at Banquete Elementary since 1994. I love this small town and our district. My children are students at Banquete ISD. Margarito is a senior and Joey is a freshman at Banquete High School. Adriana is a kindergartner at Banquete Elementary. Alex, 3, will attend Pre-K next year.
Our pre-kindergarten program is a half-day program. Our morning group attends class from 8:00-11:00 and afternoon group attends class from 12:30-3:30. Morning students may ride the bus to school and afternoon students may ride the bus home. Parents are responsible for other transportation. All children at Banquete Elementary receive free breakfast and lunch. Elementary students will be served breakfast daily in the classroom at 7:45am. Pre-kinder students must be accompanied by an adult during lunch (11:00-12:30). My conference period is 11:15-12:00.
